The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8 2023) continues with Match 6 between Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators taking place at
the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi. The 2019 champions, Quetta Gladiators managed to beat Karachi Kings as they won by 6 runs.
Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first, which gave Quetta Gladiators the chance to set a decent target of 169 runs to chase in the second innings, which would not have been possible without Martin Guptill’s 117 runs.
Quetta’s Martin Guptill came prepared as the batter scored an astounding 117 runs off just 67 balls and allowed the team to reach a decent score. Meanwhile, the rest of the batting lineup failed to perform and barely score over 5 runs each, except Iftikhar Ahmed, who still managed 32 runs off 27 balls.
